I love a good, clean, monochromatic look, especially when it is all white. You can’t go wrong with an all white look during summertime. I also love wearing a whole navy look during the summer because navy always reminds me of the beach. I was so excited to team up with my friends at J McLaughlin to show you three monochromatic looks with some of my favorite closet staples.
In this look I paired this crisp linen blazer with the most flattering white jeans. It’s not easy to find the perfect white jean that is both flattering and comfortable but these jeans might be my new favorite. Of course you can never go wrong with a good white button down. That can be paired with anything during the summer. Throw it on over a bathing suit, with cut off shorts or with your favorite skirt. So easy!
These adorable jeans are so comfortable and can easily go from day to night. I matched them with a long sleeve navy top with the same gold detail for the perfect summer look.
Of course the most popular monochromatic look is always denim on denim. Denim is a big trend this spring so I loved pairing the skirt and shirt together. I added a navy knit around my shoulders to break it up a little and then threw on some sneakers to make it an effortless summer look.
